Sprinkle baking soda in your shoes. This method is widely adopted because of its remarkable results. Sprinkle a tablespoon of baking soda into your smelly shoes to not only absorb the smell, but also remove moisture that can breed bacteria. For best results, sprinkle baking soda into your shoes as you take them off at night and shake them out the next morning just before you put your shoes on.

Baking soda can dry and crack leather shoes, so it's not a good deodorizer for shoes.

2.

Stuff newspapers in your shoes. Instead of throwing yesterday's newspaper in the trash, turn it into a treasure: Use it to deodorize your shoes. Crumple up a newspaper and stuff it into a smelly shoe. Then leave the shoe in a dry place for a few days. In this way, the smell of shoes will be gradually absorbed by the newspaper, so that the smell of shoes dissipated, no longer smelly.

You can also put a drop of your favorite perfume or fragrance on the newspaper. Just a drop of vanilla extract, for example, can be even more effective.

3.

Use cat litter to deodorize. Cat litter is not the obvious way to deodorize your shoes, but it is designed to deodorize your shoes, so it's a good way to do it. Just before bed, add 1-2 tablespoons of clean cat litter to your shoes to make a big difference. However, when you wake up in the morning, remember to empty the cat litter in your shoes into the trash.

4.

Deodorize with coffee grounds. Coffee lovers can use leftover coffee grounds to deodorize their shoes. Simply sprinkle a handful of dried coffee grounds into the shoes and let them sit for a few hours. Only use dried coffee grounds, however, as they can get wet and make shoes smell worse before they can be thoroughly dried. They can also stain light-colored fabrics.

Coffee grounds are also a great all-purpose deodorant. You can pour dried coffee grounds into an open bowl and store them in the fridge to deodorize. Dried coffee grounds have a similar effect to baking soda.

Wipe your shoes with white vinegar. Dip a rag or paper towel in white vinegar and wipe the inside of the shoe. Doing so, the effect of deodorizing shoes is very good. Note: After applying the vinegar, don't wear the shoes until they are completely dry. Otherwise, the smell will replace the smell. If you use too much vinegar, crumple up newspaper and stuff it inside your shoes to soak up excess moisture.

Alternatively, mix baking soda with vinegar to form a foam and pour the foam into your shoes for a good deodorant.

Use only white vinegar. Other colored vinegars, such as apple cider vinegar or black vinegar, can stain shoes.

Dip a cotton swab into the medical alcohol several times as needed.
